The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Air and Resource Management (DARM) is charged with regulation of Florida's air resource, including air quality monitoring, permitting and ensuring compliance of emission sources. The DARM regulates the state of Florida's air resource, implementing state, federal and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requirements, and enabling the economic development of the state. Per Code of Federal Regulation (CFR), Part 58 - Ambient Air Quality Surveillance. Teledyne equipment meets the Federal completeness and quality assurance requirements (provided in 40 CFR Part 58) in support of the operational readiness of Florida's Statewide Air Monitoring Network. The single source request is to ensure inventory of back-up units and spare parts, and manufacturer repair of critical components, to maintain the operational readiness of the Statewide Air Monitoring Network. These PM monitors will ensure Federal requirements (40 CFR Part 58) for data quality and data completeness to enable the DARM to maintain trace level monitors for SO2, CO, and NO/NOy/NOx at NCore sites which are required in accordance with 40 CFR Part 58 and the State’s approved air monitoring network plan. Teledyne API, located in San Diego, California, is the sole manufacturer of the Teledyne API Model T100U, SO2 ANALYZER, T200U Trace-level Chemiluminescence NO/NO2/NOX Analyzer, T300U (CE) CO ANALYZER, T640 OPTICAL PM ANALYZER, T640X OPTICAL PM ANALYZER, T700 Dynamic Dilution Calibrator, T701 Zero Air System, T750U Trace Level Portable Gas Calibrator, 751H Zero Air System and all associated spare/replacement parts. Teledyne API is the only direct source does not use resellers to market instruments, parts, or service. This instrument includes a 2-year warranty standard and unlimited customer phone support. Teledyne API is the only authorized service center for the repair and upgrade of the T640 and T640X, all repairs come with a 90-day warranty. All Teledyne API instruments, parts, service and training will be provided exclusively from the manufacturer. Teledyne API, being the sole manufacturer, is the only authorized service center for repair and upgrade of the T100U, T200U and T300U trace-level monitors used at our NCore air monitoring site ,the T640/T640X Particulate Matter (PM) mass monitors used throughout the statewide air monitoring network, the T700 dilution calibrator and T701 zero air system used by our field staff, and the T750U dilution calibrator and the T751H zero air system used by our audit staff. All Teledyne API instruments, parts, service and training are provided exclusively from the manufacturer which allows us to adhere to the USEPA method requirements. Without inventory of back-up equipment, spare parts, and manufacturer repair of critical components, the DARM will be unable to maintain the operational readiness of the statewide air monitoring network.
