Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town seeks a qualified and experienced website design firm to design and implement a new website and manage the transition (the “Project”) from the existing site to the new website. It is important that the new website: 1. Reflect the beauty and charm of the community; 2. Be functional for the user; 3. Be the public face of Town government; 4. Significantly improve access to Town services; 5. Be the “go to” site for answers to questions about Town services and public records; 6. Introduce Lauderdale‐By‐The‐Sea to prospective visitors, new residents and business owners, 7. Make it easier for users to interact with the Town to get the help and information they need from their local government. 8. Provide an e‐commerce service that supports secure online credit card payments; 9. Allow users to sign up for different email notifications about Town meetings, events, emergencies or hazardous conditions; 10. Be a valuable marketing tool that conveys the upscale look and feel of a 'highly desirable destination’; 11. Offer online permit applications. 12. Allow authorized users to post, edit and delete their own content
