1.04 PRODUCTS OR SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED, AND APPLICABLE SPECIFICATIONS SDOC is seeking qualified Vendors that can perform preventive maintenance and repair services on our support fleet of vehicles known as the “white fleet”. The Vendor shall be able to perform, but not limited to the following tasks: 1. Complete lube, oil, and filter change The Vendor shall change oil up to twelve (12) quarts of oil, replace the oil filter and drain plug gasket, and lubricate all chassis grease fittings. Oil and chassis lube must meet the vehicle manufacturers’ recommendation. The oil filter must meet the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) specifications. The following items listed below will be required to be inspected. When SDOC vehicles are serviced, supporting documentation will be required to be provided to SDOC through an inspection sheet. 2. Interior Dome Light Electrical Switches, harnesses, computer components (BCM, ECM, or any other device designed to make the vehicle function). Power Window motors, regulators, and switches Parking Brake Operation 3. Engine Compartment Engine Compartment Air Filter Battery Condition (cables, clamps, corrosion) Battery State of Health Cooling System (leaks) Hoses (cracks, damage, leaks) Drive Belts (cracks, damage, wear) Radiator Core/Air Condition Condenser and other components associated with the HVAC system Any emissions components preventing operation of the vehicle (Valves, EGR, Hose/lines, and any other devices associated with the system operation. 4. Exterior Tire pressure to be adjusted to vehicle manufacturer specification Tire rotation every other service Horn Operation Headlights, Taillights, Turn Signals, Brake Lights, Hazard Warning Lights, Exterior Lamps (check for damage and operation) Windshield Wipers and Washer Operation Fuel Tank Cap Gasket 5. Underneath Vehicle Propeller/Driveshaft (damage, leaks, U-joints) Drive/CV Shaft (damage, leaks, boots) Axle Hub & Bearing (damage, leaks, noise) Steering Linkage (damage, leaks, worn components) Suspension (damage, leaks, worn components) Fluid Leaks (engine, transmission, differential) Exhaust System (damage, leaks, corrosion) Fuel Lines & Connections/Fuel Tank Bands/ Fuel Tank Vapor Vent System Hoses and Evap equipment (Carbon Filters and ventilation lines) (damage, leaks, corrosion) Brakes (fluid) 6. Fluids Windshield Washer (Top Off as needed) Coolant (All Types but Manufacture specifications) Power Steering (All viscosity types) (if equipped) Brake Reservoir (All viscosity types) Clutch Reservoir (All viscosity types) (if equipped) Transmission/Transaxle (All viscosity types) Differential (All viscosity types) (if equipped) 1.05 NEW ITEMS AND/OR OPTIONS New items and/or options may be included in this bid if they are standard items and/or options for this commodity. Items inadvertently left off the price sheet may be viewed as an option not known to exist at the time this bid was sent out, but are now available as an additional option. Awarded Bidders that would like to provide additional options, may attach their list of currently available options to their respective price sheets. Since these products will be made to order on an as needed basis, each purchase could vary greatly since many will be site specific. As market and/or building code changes occur the awarded Bidders may contact the Purchasing Agent about additional options.
