Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. General – The Monroe County School District is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide services in the areas of low voltage wiring, fiber optic cabling, and coaxial cable. This work includes fiber optic cable installation, splicing, and termination, and making runs to provide 120 Volt A/C power to technology type devices. The contract will be for four years from the effective date with no renewals. B. Typical examples of project scopes to be requested under this contract include: 1. Media to expand district PA system 2. Media to expand district Access Control System 3. Media to expand district Security Camera System 4. Media to expand district building control system 5. Media to expand district computer network 6. Media removal, repair, and replacement due to a catastrophic event 7. Media to expand other similar low voltage systems 8. Power runs to support low voltage systems
