ITB-05-27RH - Post Hurricane Forestry Recovery Project

Summary of Specifications:
Hurricanes Ivan and Dennis destroyed thousands of trees on the University of West Florida campus. In January 2006, the University was awarded a grant from the Department of Agriculture to plant trees to recover from tree loss due to Hurricanes Ivan and Dennis. This tree planting project will focus on replacing trees in the areas on campus that sustained the most damage. Planting shall start November 1, 2006 and be completed by November 30, 2006. UWF will consider and grant/decline any time extensions. The University of West Florida intends to purchase these trees in accordance with accompanying specifications. Goods are to be delivered to and the work is to be performed on the main campus of The University of West Florida, 11000 University Parkway, Pensacola, FL 32514.
