23-006 - Parks Master Plan: City of Fairburn Parks & Recreation Department

The City of Fairburn is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to create a parks master plan. The consultant team should have expertise in comprehensive long-range park system planning, analysis, needs assessment, visioning, and implementation best practices. Additionally, the master planning process should have a substantial public/citizen engagement component. The successful consultant team should also have experience working with cities of comparable size and scope. The plan should result in a collaborative 10-year roadmap with input from residents, staff, and other key stakeholders. The resulting plan should enhance the quality of life by providing a parks system inclusive of parks, greenspace, trails, facilities, other park features and programming that also protects our natural resources. The plan should also include a detailed conceptual plan for a multipurpose facility within Duncan Park, the city’s largest park.
