The City of Fayetteville Finance Department request competitive proposals from qualified firms to provide janitorial services for various City facilities in accordance with this Request for Proposals. Sealed proposals for Janitorial Services for the City of Fayetteville will be received at the Office of Finance & Administrative Services, located at 210 Stonewall Avenue W., Fayetteville, Georgia, 30214 until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 3, 2021 at which time, proposals will be opened and publicly read. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive formalities.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, proposals may be submitted electronically in pdf format to ctalmadge@fayetteville-ga.gov. The subject of the email must reference “CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE JANITORIAL SERVICES-Proposal #FI151-10”. The Cost Proposal Sheet MUST be submitted as a separate attachment as that of the proposal. The designated purchasing official will acknowledge the receipt of the proposal by return email.

Instructions for preparation and submission of the proposal are contained on the City’s website https://fayetteville-ga.gov/government/bids-and-rfps/active-solicitations/. Any changes to the conditions and specifications for this RFP must be in the form of a written addendum to be valid; therefore, the City will issue a written addendum to document all approved changes. Any proposal submitted which does not acknowledge the receipt of an addendum will not be considered.

Firms interested in submitting a competitive proposal for City Janitorial Services are required to attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting located at the City Hall Building, 240 South Glynn Street on May 20th, 2021 at 9am which will conclude with Site Visits. Due to COVID19 pandemic each firm is limited to two representatives at the meeting so that proper social distancing protocols can be adhered to. Masks are required in all City buildings. All questions posed at the pre-proposal meeting will be answered and published as an addendum to the RFP.

Firms will sign in at this location and then we will visit the New City Hall building and then the Police/Court Building.
