The City of Milton is accepting sealed bids from qualified firms for the 290 Batesville Road Stormwater Project-REISSUANCE ,for the Public Works Department in conformance with Title 32, Chapter 4, Article 4, Part 2 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated. All work will be done in accordance with Georgia Department of Transportation’s (GDOT) Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications (current edition), and Pay Items Index as standards and specifications for the construction and completion of the work required. All bidders must comply with all general and special requirements of the bid information and instructions enclosed herein. To bid on this contract, the Contractor must be listed on the current Georgia Department of Transportation Pre-Qualified Contractors list. No exceptions.
The general scope of work will consist of building a header curb and concrete flume along the westside of the driveway, ditch cleanup and recontouring, tree removal, constructing an earthen berm, and new four-board wooden fence installation only along the construction area. All work will be according to the plan and any field adjustments must be approved by the Inspector prior to construction.
All qualified bids will receive consideration without regard to age, handicap, religion, creed or belief, political affiliation, race, color, sex, or national origin.
The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton.
