Description

The City of Tucker is seeking an artist to design and install a mural on a retaining wall at the start of the city trail network in the heart of Downtown Tucker. This trail, known as Segment 1a, is part of a 32-mile network of greenway trails, side paths, and neighborhood greenways laid out by our Trail Master Plan. Construction of this trail segment started in March 2022 and should be completed in January 2023.

Vendor shall submit ITB Response electronically to procurement@tuckerga.gov with the subject line ITB #2023-009. The email must contain the vendor contact information.

WHAT TO SUBMIT:
1. Artist resume or artist statement
2. A rough sketch of the proposed design, in color, with a description of the materials to be used and the meaning and inspiration for the design.
3. Estimate of material costs.
4. 4-6 images of completed past work. A short description including the title, medium, cost, dimensions, location, and date produced.
5. Three professional references who have experience with the artist’s installations, especially public art installations.
