21-6568 - Annual Contract - Fire Hydrant Inspection and Maintenance

The Cobb County PARKS Department (“PARKS”) and Property Management Department (“Property Management”) are responsible for inspections and maintenance of approximately one hundred forty-five (145) fire hydrants.  These private hydrants are located on Cobb County properties, not in the right-of-way, and are not covered by existing Cobb County contracts for inspection and maintenance.  PARKS and Property Management seek to enter into an annual contract (“Contract”) with a qualified vendor (“Vendor”) to provide annual inspections, maintenance, and testing (“Work”) as detailed in the scope of work contained herein. An inventory of the hydrant numbers, locations throughout the County, and departmental responsibilities will be provided to the awarded vendor.
