Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Burke County Board of Commissioners invites qualified trauma-informed educational services providers to submit proposals for online educational services for Burke County, GA. The selected online trauma-informed educational services provider will be responsible for providing online curriculum to participants, managing intake and reporting processes required for grant administration, and supporting grant compliance with the applicable laws and regulations, with a particular focus on reducing youth recidivism according to Youth Violent Crime grant. The primary objective is to is designed to decrease the number of Burke County residents without high school diplomas within 9 months or less. The secondary objective is designed to provide intervention-based education that leads to preventing and reducing gang violence through detection and interruption, changing individual behavior, and redefining community norms. A POST Certified and Crisis Intervention Trained Program Lead: The selected provider must hold dual certifications as a Georgia Certified Peace Officer and as a Crisis Intervention Trained (CIT) Officer. 10 years of experience in leadership providing grant focused services to at-risk populations required. Doctoral degree preferred. EVIDENCE BASED CURRICULUM: The selected provider must have a documented relationship of using evidence-based programs and curriculum.
