The scope of work for this project will include complete ceiling, lighting, and air distribution replacement for the areas affected on the 3rd floor of Langdale Hall. In addition, minor adjustments to existing fire protection systems may be required to align with new ceiling layout and/or in areas where the ceiling height changes. The scope of work includes the demolition of existing ceilings, mechanical equipment (air distribution), and electrical (lighting). The new construction will consist of ceilings, air distribution, and lighting. The mechanical HVAC work will consist of complete replacement of ductwork and terminal units up to and including a small portion of duct in the existing mechanical room. Work will also include painting and cove base in all areas impacted by new work.
