City of Savannah is requesting proposals to develop a Multimodal Transportation Implementation Plan. This plan will build on the Coastal Region (CORE) Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Master Transportation Plan 2050 by addressing identified needs and funding opportunities. It will also focus on critical local projects and implementation strategies, providing a thorough assessment of funding sources and partnership approaches. The Multimodal Transportation Implementation Plan will avoid duplication and overlap with existing studies while providing an essential tool for the City’s continued partnership with the Chatham County - Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) and CORE MPO in meeting the accelerated growth and demand in the coastal region. Additionally, this assessment will include all projects currently planned or programmed with an evaluation of cost estimation and scheduling to accelerate delivery.
