Specifications include, but are not limited to: City of East Point, Georgia (hereafter referred to as the "City") is seeking to procure the servicesof up to three qualified firms to provide on-call construction services for its ongoing capitalimprovements program. These services will primarily address chronic sewer backups inresidences and businesses and overflows related to wet weather surcharging of the City'ssanitary sewers. Through the issuance of this Request For Proposal ("RFP" and/or "Proposal"),the City is soliciting Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers for on-call constructionservices. This project involves providing construction services including, but not necessarily limited toinstallation of water piping and valves, various mechanical installations and repairs, concretework, steel fabrication, road repair, excavation and installation of excavation support systems,welding, carpentry, pipe and appurtenances replacement, fabrication of mechanical parts, generalhydraulic and structural maintenance, and general construction work including street repairs,sidewalks, and snow removal (if needed). Work will be performed on behalf of the City of EastPoint in an effort to advance the City's capital improvement program, address emergency repairneeds, and perform general construction of municipal works.
