This RFP defines the service standards, specifications, and proposal requirements of the comprehensive, residential and commercial trash collection services for the City of Union City (City). The City has issued this RFP for the sole purpose and intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified contractors to provide Solid Waste Collection and a Recycling Program for the City’s commercial and residential customers. Contractors may, at their option, submit offers in response to either or both services.

   General management ability;
   Financial stability and strength; and
   Solid waste collection experience; including trash, yard waste, bulky waste and electronic waste collections.

The Cost Proposal must be packaged separately and include information as requested herein relative to the costs proposed to accomplish the proposed project. All of the proposed prices shall be submitted on the Form E (residential) and/or Form F (commercial) - Price Worksheet. This form(s) shall be executed by the authorized official to bind the company. See Section 6- Payment Terms for more details on price proposals.
