The primary objective of the Department is to empower schools and provide access to various resources, tools, supports and assistance focused on the Department Na Hopena A’o vision: Goal 1: Student Success; Goal 2: Staff Success; and Goal 3: Successful Systems of Support. To accomplish this objective, Department anticipates the need for various supporting educational services and assistance from external service partners (CONTRACTORs) in implementing systems, practices, programs, and protocols (collectively Services) that are evidence based. These Services must often be customized to meet the specific and unique needs of each school as well as the current constraints placed on the learning environment. Services should be designed and delivered to identify improvement areas and develop and implement successful strategies that build school sustainability and reflect student academic achievements.
