Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide an already customized permitted/licensed mobile clinic with licensed clinical staff that travels to remote communities and locations where wildfire families are temporarily placed to receive clinical services outside of a hospital or office setting, delivering a wide variety of health services related to perinatal care (e.g., ultrasound, vaccines, lactation care, mental health counseling/referral) and may be staffed by a combination of physicians, nurses, community health workers, and other health professionals; The provider mobile equipment shall meet the standards of care (i.e., calibrate medical equipment to ensure that all devices are adjusted and regulated within the national and local standards). Essential equipment may be purchased with DOH approval; The provider shall also be responsible to develop, plan, and evaluate programs in preventing maternal and infant mortality by educating parents and communities in a non-stigmatized approach taking into consideration cultural values and traditions; Establish and identify community partnerships within Maui to assist in decision making of needed community resources for pregnant and postpartum women, and birthing people and families living in rural communities, affected by wildfire, and those who have difficulty receiving necessary reproductive care; Provide services in assisting pregnant and postpartum women, and birthing people and families that have limited access to prenatal care and education services identifying recommendations for actions or follow up activities; Provide mental health education/support/telehealth assistance for people with postpartum depression and/or substance use with focus on early identification, treatment, and follow-up; Facilitate the access to contraception and family planning for younger women and men in recognition of the importance of healthy pregnancies; Work with community leadership and agencies to provide support and provide for stipend and mileage reimbursement for volunteers; Manage and provide invoices for payment related to the MCHB mobile clinical support services and programs; and Ensure all tasks, deliverables, and activities have been completed and submit a Final Project Report with required data findings.
