RFI 21-271 - RFI 21-271 Core Financials & HR Systems Demonstrations

The Information & Technology Department of the City of Boise, Idaho, requests information from enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution providers and/or Human Resources services providers (HRIS) to update our core financials and human resource systems.

The City of Boise consists of 16 departments and 2,300 employees. This includes a peak level of seasonal employees serving a city population of over 240,000 citizens. The current ERP system is Infor/Lawson version 10, and a variety of HR systems.  Our goal is to have a well-integrated core financial package and HR suite.  These may come from a single provider or we may look at two well integrated solutions.  The business desire is to upgrade or switch to a system that can improve core financials and HR functionality and to automate processes driving efficiency across city operations. New core financial and HR functionality must be adopted city-wide and enable quick annual and quarterly close processes. At this phase in the project, we are collecting preliminary data to help inform us on what is available in the marketplace.
