S208 Grounds Maintenance & Snow Removal, Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC)
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:
- Title: Grounds Maintenance & Snow Removal
- NAICS Code: 561730 Landscaping Services
Tasks:
The Contractor shall provide sufficient personnel, equipment, and material to adequately maintain the premises at an acceptable level as outlined in this contract. Work shall occur on a (day to be determined) schedule to include mowing, trimming, and picking up grass clippings and yard debris. The Contractor shall maintain these areas in accordance with these guidelines. There are approximately 33 acres of improved grounds. All clippings, leaves, and debris shall be removed and disposed of off VA grounds after each weekly service.
- The Contractor shall provide all labor, appropriate equipment, and tools necessary to perform on call snow and ice removal from roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, stairwells, and building entrances throughout the BVAMC. As per the PWS, the approximate acres to be cleared are 7.8 acres of parking lot and 1.5 miles of roadway with adjacent sidewalk.
Contractor Qualifications:
- All work shall be performed by a factory trained Qualified Person as follows:
- The Contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations to include responsibility to conform with current Occupational, Safety, Health Administration (OSHA) & Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations while working on this facility.

Period of Performance: 04/18/2025 – 04/17/2026, plus two option years.
