One (1) sealed proposal from each prospective Bidder will be received by the CHICAGO ROCKFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT at 60 Airport Drive, Rockford, IL 61109 until 10:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2020 for the construction of REHABILITATE AIR CARGO APRON TRENCH DRAIN (RAMP A AND C) at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Sealed bids must be submitted in an envelope marked: Bid for REHABILITATE AIR CARGO APRON TRENCH DRAIN (RAMP A AND C);
The project work consists of the following major items and approximate quantities:
Base Bid:
Aggregate Base Preparation – 400 SY, 18” PCC Pavement – 400 SY, Pavement Removal – 400 SY, Trench Drain Repair – 395 LF, Type 2 Inlet Repair – 1 EA, Pavement Marking – 32 SF.
Additive Alternate No. 1:
Aggregate Base Preparation – 290 SY, 18” PCC Pavement – 290 SY, Pavement Removal – 290 SY, Trench Drain Repair – 172 LF, Type 2 Inlet Repair – 1 EA.
Additive Alternate No. 2:
Aggregate Base Preparation – 380 SY, 18” PCC Pavement – 380 SY, Pavement Removal – 380 SY, Trench Drain Repair – 187 LF, Type 2 Inlet Repair – 1 EA.
