The City of Peoria is seeking proposals to rehabilitate a publicly owned house by qualified individuals, neighborhood associations, nonprofits, or development firms.

The City of Peoria owns a single-family house located at 514 W McClure Ave. The 1 ½ story bungalow is approximately 1,596 sq ft., and the property is zoned R-4. The property was obtained through the abandoned property process and has sat vacant for multiple years. The property will be sold AS IS and contains a volume of personal belongings and debris. Previous ownership started renovations to the house including some new windows and a front door. All construction will need to fully comply with all applicable City building and zoning codes. Sealed proposals – one (1) original and three (3) copies – will be accepted by the City of Peoria, Purchasing Division, 419 Fulton Street, Room 108, Peoria, Illinois, 61602, until 2:00 p.m. on
September 14, 2022. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or package with the RFP title and RFP number and marked on the outside. Please include your company name and return address on the outside of the envelope. Proposals received after the stated date and time will not be considered. Faxed proposals will not be
accepted.

ENVELOPE IDENTIFICATION - Proposers shall submit their response in a sealed envelope which shall be clearly labeled with the organization/individual name and address.
Proposers should also indicate “RFP 37-22 Rehabilitation Opportunity - 514 McClure Ave.” in the LOWER LEFT-HAND CORNER OF THEIR ENVELOPE.
