Indian Prairie School District 204 is seeking proposals from firms to conduct an audit of our academically talented programming. We are committed to ensuring that our academically talented programs are equitable and effective.. The purpose of this audit is to evaluate the current status of our academically talented programming, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for enhancement.
Indian Prairie School District 204 (abbreviated IPSD) serves roughly 26,000 students from the Illinois communities of Aurora, Bolingbrook, Plainfield and Naperville, in DuPage and Will counties. Currently, one preschool, twenty-one elementary schools, seven middle schools, four high schools, and one alternative high school are in the district. This audit would be focused on our academically talented program that serves students in grades three to five at our 21 elementary schools. Students currently participate in a pull out support program for 200-300 minutes per week for ELA and 300 minutes per week for math. Some of our identified students are twice exceptional.
