A meeting with interested FSMCs to review specifications, to clarify any questions, and for a walk-though of the facilities with school officials will be on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM CST at the following location, 780 Shoreline Drive, Aurora, IL 60504 Conference Room B6. The document review portion of the Pre-proposal meeting will be directly followed by a site review and visit at an Elementary School, Middle School, High School and Satellite Production Kitchen. The first site review and visit will be conducted at Fry Elementary School, 3204 Tall Grass Dr, Naperville 60564, followed by Neuqua Valley High School, 2360 95th St, Naperville 60564 and ending at Scullen Middle School, 2815 Mistflower Ln, Naperville 60564. A Maximum of 30 minutes will be spent at each site to not interfere with daily meal service and operations.

- Pre-proposal meeting and facility tour: all FSMCs that intend to respond to this RFP are highly encouraged to attend. Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit will occur during normal operating hours in order to provide Offerors optimal information needed to make a competitive proposal. Photography, of any type, will not be permitted. Failure to attend the pre-proposal meeting and facility tour does not relieve the FSMC of errors or omissions when submitting their proposal. Failure of the FSMC to inform themself regarding the conditions pertaining to the scope of service or to receive or examine documents issued from the SFA relating to the scope of service will be at the FSMC’s risk. The tender of the FSMC proposal carries agreement to all conditions called for by this RFP.
- Questions for Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit: Submit, in writing, questions regarding the RFP by 1:00 PM CST on Friday, February 16, 2024, through the BidNet system. SFA will acknowledge receipt of questions within in 2 working/business days of receipt. Written responses to questions will be provided as outlined in section 1.6.
- Questions from the floor at the Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit must also be presented in writing. These questions may or may not be answered at the Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit.
- All questions will be answered via BidNet after the meeting and sent to all individuals that are RFP Document Holders.
- Answers will be published via Addendum and published via BidNet.
