Kane County’s Development and Community Services Department is seeking to generate a pre-qualified list of project consultants that may be drawn upon to fulfill a variety of project planning and implementation functions supporting key agriculture and food system goals. The County is currently engaged in a number of efforts to better protect agricultural resources while also maximizing opportunities for food and agriculture-based entrepreneurship and business growth. While the County has extensive experience in Ag-related planning and policy design, it will increasingly rely upon subject matter experts to advance forthcoming projects. By establishing a pre-qualified list of project consultants Kane County will be able to more expediently on-board needed specialists based on their vetted expertise. To be considered as a contract vendor for Kane County’s agricultural projects, prospective service providers are invited to provide their professional qualifications and select their areas of specialization listed in this RFQ.
