05-09-24 - Salt Dome Roof Replacement

INTRODUCTION
The County of Peoria is currently accepting bids from qualified vendors for Bid #05-09-24 Salt Dome Roof Replacement.

PRE-BID
A pre-bid meeting will be held on August 26PhP at 10:00 am at the Highway Dept. North Station, 15017 Evans Mill Rd., Princeville IL 61559. This meeting is to allow measurements of areas outlined in this bid document and to become familiar with the project.

PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT
This project is a Public Works Project and will be subject to Prevailing Wage Act. Please see "General Instructions to Bidders" for details. In addition to the Prevailing Wage Act requirements, Peoria County requires any General, or Sub-Contractor for contracts of $5,000 or greater, to participate in an Apprenticeship Training Program and to submit a “Certificate of Apprenticeship and Training” with bid response.  General Contractors will be required to submit names of any/all subcontractors to be used on this project.
