The County of McLean and its Rural Broadband Expansion Workgroup called Accelerate Access McLean County (AAMC) is seeking information from Internet Service Providers (ISPs) currently serving McLean County and/or ISPs who are interested in serving McLean County, who intend to apply for Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) funding to assist in building out a high-speed internet network. The hope is that any premise(s) currently without a wired high speed internet option will have one once the BEAD funded installations are complete. This RFI has the goal of opening a dialog with potential ISP partners intending to apply for BEAD funding to serve McLean County with affordable high speed wired internet. This RFI is being issued to help determine which ISPs should receive letters of support from the community by identifying how an ISPs goal(s) align with the AAMC vision for highspeed internet within the county.
