The Illinois State Police (ISP) Metro East Forensic Lab intends to procure a three year contract for elevator maintenance and repair on one ThyssenKrupp Hydraulic Passenger Elevator and one ThyssenKrupp Hydraulic Freight Elevator. This includes the as needed repair and maintenance of both elevators, as well as four quarterly inspections each year and one annual yearly state safety inspection for both elevators. Labor cost should include travel time. The hours listed are for evaluation purposes only and are not a guarantee of minimum hours worked. Vendor per hour labor rate shall include the prevailing basic wage rate; fringe benefits (Health and Welfare, pension, and others) also shall include all employer expenses for FICA, Workmen's Compensation, Liability Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, and any other City, State, or Federal requirements regarding employees. Winning vendor will be based upon lowest quote total. The use of a brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance, and characteristics desired and is not intended to limit or restrict competition. "Or equal" submissions will not be rejected because of minor differences in design, construction or features that do not affect the suitability of the product for its intended use. Burden of proof that the product is equal is on the bidder.; Hourly rate for Onsite Technician Service calls, regular hours, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; Hourly rate for Onsite Technician Service calls after hours Monday-Friday prior to 8:00am and after 4:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays.; Materials at cost for repair - some parts may be required to be Thyssen Krupp brand or equivalent. Materials at cost for repair will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who is awarded the contract. This line item is not a material part of the evaluation process and the bidder should enter $5,250 in the Unit Cost field of this line item when submitting their bid.
