Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Implement a scalable Infrastructure Compute (Cloud, Hybrid-Cloud). ● Improve Data Movement Capabilities, using batched ETL, and adding API gateway infrastructure and capabilities for managing data. ● Reduce latency to provide business users with real-time or near real-time data. ● Improve Access Control Processes and Capabilities for end users, and systems. ● Expand Access to Academic staff (teachers) and Administrative Staff. ● Expand Data Warehouse Profile to include administrative (phased) and academic data (priority). ● Enhance / Standardize System to Systems integrations (Roster, Performance data, etc.). ● Improve Data Visualization and Reporting Capabilities. ● Improve (as measured with performance testing) system responsiveness for various scenarios (reporting, integrations, ETL, etc). ● Create Expanded and Easier User Reporting Interfaces. ● Provide Self Service Capabilities for End Users. ● System features support the improvement of Data Quality, Governance, and Security for both End Users and System-to-System transactions. ● Provide support, with access to key resources for the project and during operations. ● A service provider with a plan for the present and future that provides CPS continuous value and system improvements over the contract life-cycle (transparent roadmap). ● Refine onboarding process for new technologies, and integrations (documented). ● The data system must provide: 1. Secure data storage and interchange at utility-industry standard level or better 2. Data results in no more than 5 second response time in client tools 3. Ease of operation including: a. Core administration tasks such as defined imports, transformations, and user updates may be learned by an experienced administrator with an hour of training and available documentation (training materials) b. User analytics tasks may be executed by users with experience in relevant client tools with an hour of training and available documentation
