This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes to determine the availability of qualified sources capable of providing armed security guard services within the United States Army European Command (EUCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) and under the 414th CSB. For historical reference, there are ongoing private security services being performed in Italy.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market research request is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The information provided in this Sources Sought is subject to change and does not bind the Government in any way.
Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Please clearly identify any information your company considers proprietary. No classified, confidential, or sensitive information shall be included in a response to this Sources Sought. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
At this time Industry is to assume that this potential requirement would be as Task Order awarded under the Global Protective Services (GPS) Contract as a decentralized order placed by the 414th CSB.

Contractors are requested to provide the following within their Capability Statement:
- Proof your company is compliant with ANSI/ASIS PSC-1.
- Detail of your company’s capability to deploy armed guards to multiple locations in multiple countries concurrently. Contractors shall provide all mobilization, demobilization, management, and supervision of armed security guards in multiple locations.
The Capability Statement shall be submitted via e-mail to Mr. Eric M Jackson, Contract Specialist and Anthony Patera, Contracting Officer at usarmy.ria.acc.mbx.gps@army.mil no later than 3:00PM CT Friday, October 4th, 2024.
