The Illinois Secretary of State is seeking bids for purchase and installation of two liftgates and two snowplows for 2024 Ford F-250 trucks. The resulting contract with the awarded vendor shall have a term of upon execution to 12/31/24. Equivalents must meet the following minimum specifications. 1.2.2.1 Weight capacity: 1,300 lbs 1.2.2.2 Platform Detail: • Treadplate • 2-piece treadplate steel with 38” loading depth and 4” taper 1.2.2.3 Hydraulic System: • Must be enclosed but have easy access for servicing. • Pressure relief valve to prevent operator from overloading the platform. • Flow control valve to prevent uncontrolled descent of platform. • Dual hydraulic cylinders to lift the platform from both sides. 1.2.2.4 Electrical System: • Moisture resistant toggle switch • Timer reset and on-off button on control unit. • Direct connection from the liftgate to the truck battery.
