The City of Des Plaines (“City”) is seeking proposals form qualified consultants to provide Plan and Investment Management Consulting Services for the City’s two suites of 457 Deferred Comp, 457Roth, Roth IRA, and Retirement Health Savings programs through Nationwide and/or MissionSquare (formally ICMA-RC). The purpose of the RFP is to identify and retain a consultant to (i) evaluate investment services based upon the best practice in plan design, investments, performance and education; (ii) assist the City in providing City employees in achieving retirement income security; and (iii) enhance plan design and investment fund performance for participants while also monitoring and reducing the fees paid by employees. If additional services are required as it relates to this project, the City may, at its sole discretion, elect to use the services of the consultant selected with this RFP.
