Premium pelleted fish food, premium starter and grower diets formulated for the accelerated production of Coho Salmon (300,000), Chinook Salmon (200,000), Steelhead Trout (75,000), Largemouth Bass (150,000), Smallmouth Bass (100,000) Muskie (50,000), Northern Pike (30,000), and Striped Bass Hybrids (25,000). This feed should be an extruded diet that is easily digestible with fish meal and fish oil as the first two ingredients. These two ingredients must provide the primary protein source that salmon, trout, muskie, pike, and bass species can grow most efficiently on. The nutritional content of the feed should be guaranteed for at least twelve months from the date of manufacture when stored in a cool, dry location and must be packaged in 40 to 50-pound bags. Fish food must be provided in a wide variety of sizes listed below and is essential for the intensive culture of cold, cool, and warm water fish species reared at Jake Wolf Fish Hatchery. Starter Fish food, extruded crumbles, including sizes Mash (.25-.4mm), #0 (.3-.6mm), #1 (.4-1.0mm), and #2 (.8-1.2mm) must have at minimum 52-53% crude protein, minimum crude fat 18-20 %, 8.5% moisture, maximum 1% crude fiber, 1.1% sodium, 2.6% calcium, minimum 1.2% phosphorus, minimum Vitamin A 10,000 IU/Kg, minimum Vitamin D3 4,000 IU/Kg, minimum Vitamin E 350 IU/Kg,12% ash and have digestible energy ratio (MJ/KG) of 19.3. Additional ingredients should include enhanced vitamin pack, natural pigment and palatability enhancers, beta-glucans, and nucleotides to promote fish health. Fry fish food including sized 1.2mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, and 3.0mm must have at minimum 50% crude protein, minimum crude fat 22%, 8.5% moisture, maximum 1% crude fiber, 0.8% sodium, 2.6% calcium, minimum 1.2% phosphorus, minimum Vitamin A 5,000 IU/Kg, minimum Vitamin D3 3,000 IU/Kg, minimum Vitamin E 350 IU/Kg,12% ash and have digestible energy ratio (MJ/KG) of 19.3. Additional ingredients should include enhanced vitamin pack, natural pigment, and beta-glucans to promote fish health., stimulate the immune system and enhance palatability.
