Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work for this project shall include all labor and equipment to complete watering treatments of trees and shrubs at Waukegan Savanna, Edward L. Ryerson Woods, and Independence Grove Forest Preserves. Depending on rainfall during the 2024 growing season, reforestation sites (Work Sites) may require watering as many as seven times. The specific timing of watering shall be determined by Owner Project Manager based on soil conditions at the site. Waukegan Savanna:66trees (1.0+”-dbh) and287trees/shrubs (1-5-gallon) were planted inseveral areas totaling approximately 13.0 acres, see attached map (Attachment C).Edward L. Ryerson Woods:35trees (1.0+”-dbh) and139trees/shrubs (1-5-gallon) were planted in several areas totaling approximately 6.5 acres, see attached map (Attachment C).Independence Grove:18trees (1.0”-dbh) and95trees/shrubs (1-5-gallon) were planted inseveral areas totaling approximately 3.5 acres, see attached map (Attachment C)
