Remove existing shingles down to the roof sheathing. Check for large gaps, cracked boards, soft or rotted wood. Replace as needed. Re-sheet will need approved change order if its not figured in the bid. Install ice and Snow guard along the lower edge of the roof making sure 2’ above the top plate is covered. Install water barrier through out the remaining roof per manufactures specifications. Install new 30-year architectural shingles of the homeowner’s color choice using the contractors provide base shingle colors. Install new flashing boots over plumbing vents and electric masts. New 2” style D roof edge on everything. Install a shingle over ridge venting system. Install to manufactures specifications. Cut back the peak as much as allowable to ensure the best heat escape. Clean out all the gutters upon roof completion. Remove a section of concrete in the front above stairs on the upper side walk. Approx… 11’ x 4’ and a small section at bottom of steps butting the city sidewalk approx... 4’ x 4’. Replace with new concrete 4” thick pinned to steps on the lower and expansion joint butting up to the city walk. Pin the top section of side walk on both ends. Reinforcement wire needs to be in place and verified by The City before concrete is poured. Remove the old handrailing on the steps. Install a new metal exterior railing on the steps to code. Broom finish with concrete sealer for the completion.
