Southwestern Illinois Correctional Center intends to procure a vendor to repair/replace tubes in its boiler in the Administration Building of its facility. The boiler is a Burnham brand, 30 psi water press with three-pass generator, Model # 3W-100-50-G-GP / Serial #22369. The tubes are leaking, causing fault codes, often requiring a complete restart. SUPPLIES AND/OR SERVICES REQUIRED: Vendor is required to be licensed by the Division of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Safety and possess "R Stamp" to make the repair on the boiler. Vendor will repair the leak to the standards of the State Fire Marshall such that Southwestern Illinois Correctional Center can safely operate the boiler within the guidelines set forth by applicable law. Vendor will report any problems or concerns to the Chief Engineer in a timely manner. Vendor will replace any gaskets that are removed for the repair with new gaskets. Vendor will release boiler to Agency when work is completed in manner that is safe to operate and ready to be put back into service.
