Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1. Supply Hardware Hardware must meet the following requirements: • Live stream video to traditional cable and satellite TV providers (Comcast and Dish). • Stream recorded content to traditional cable and satellite TV providers (Comcast and Dish). • Provide program lineup information to cable and satellite TV providers. • Live stream over the internet via the City website. • Provide video on demand streaming of recorded content over the internet and through the apps. 4.2. Streaming Content Detailed requirements for support for streaming content. • Have a streaming application compatible with the major platforms including Android, iOS, Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV. • Include cloud-based content hosting to reduce bandwidth requirements from the City network. 4.3. Equipment Installation • The vendor shall provide all materials, equipment and labor necessary to professionally install and test the system and ancillary equipment. This shall include, but is not limited to, delivery, equipment unloading, all system hardware and software installation, all system cabling, inspection and testing of the system and its components. • Any equipment provided under the contract must be installed and ready for acceptance testing three (3) business days after the agreed installation date. • The vendor is responsible for all coordination for successful systems to go live on the agreed live date. • Full system documentation shall also be provided including a system diagram, user manuals, system description, maintenance manual, etc. • Notwithstanding the written certification by the vendor that the equipment has been installed and ready for use, the equipment shall not be deemed installed within the terms of the contract until such installation is confirmed by the UPTV Production manager. • During the installation, the vendor shall perform all tests necessary to ensure that the portions of the system are ready for live use. • Installation needs to be completed by September 28, 2024. 4.4. Ongoing Support • Minimum of three years for support of the hardware and software. • Include security updates for the entire support term. • Provide a number of hours for training and initial questions, in addition to the break/fix level of ongoing support.
