Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through this Request for Proposals, the City of Champaign is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide a complete WiFi and NAC refresh at city owned facilities including the City Building, the Police Facility, the Public Works facility, the Public Works Parking facility, the Township office, and 6 fire stations. Services will include installation and configuration of the WiFi system and NAC for wired and wireless networking. The city has been utilizing Extreme Networks switching equipment for more than 10 years, and with this in mind, the city has elected to implement an Extreme Networks WiFi system utilizing the Extreme Networks NAC. Specifically, the city plans to utilize 2 Extreme Networks Universal Wireless AP5010’s for indoor installations, and Extreme Networks Wireless AP460C’s for outdoor and weather exposed installations. The table below indicates the number of each AP type needed and the building in which they will be installed.
