The Village of Cary, Illinois is requesting statements of qualifications from multi-disciplined civil engineering consulting firms for on-call engineering services. The consultants would support Village staff in areas where assistance is required due to other workload or the specialized technical nature of certain projects. The Village will be retaining on-call consulting firms under this agreement for a period of two years, with an option to extend the contract for an additional two-year period not to exceed April 30th, 2029. The on-call consultants shall provide staffing and other resources on an as-needed basis for engineering services that may include, but are not limited to: • Preliminary, Design, and Construction Engineering Services o Cost estimates, agency coordination, preparation of plans and specifications, securing all applicable Federal, State, and local permits, attend meetings, bid phase services, resident engineer, construction administration, QA/QC, and applicable graphics and visual displays. • Federal, State, and Local Grant administration and execution, including Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) and Surface Transportation Program (STP) o Applications, form preparation, reporting • Traffic Operations Analysis • Transportation, Building, Water, and Wastewater Infrastructure Design and Construction Services • Drainage studies, investigation, and design • Environmental updates • Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) • Coordination with utilities • Assistance with obtaining and securing clearances (and permits) from all regulatory agencies • Preparation of contract proposals, necessary bidding documents, engineer’s letter of recommendation for contract award and payment applications, and post-letting plan revisions and/or post-design services • Project reports and memos • Intersection design study • Conceptual design • Geotechnical and pavement investigation • Roadway structural design • Clean construction or demolition debris (CCDD) screening and coordination • Detailed topographic and/or field condition surveying for planning and design
