The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates the need for a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace SHU Doors, at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) Chicago, located in Chicago, Illinois.

The Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) Chicago has a requirement for replacing steel doors and frames at existing cells. This will include elements such as, but not limited to: door/frame demolition, door/frame installation, door hardware, locking mechanisms, existing wall repairs/reinforcement and painting. The existing doors, frames and hardware have exceeded their useful life. MCC Chicago has developed these documents for the solicitation of construction services from a professional contractor.
