The St. Louis Regional Airport is accepting sealed quotes for the removal and reinstallation of approximately 1,950 square feet of deteriorating concrete. Total amount is around 48 cubic yards of cement concrete pavement. Two sections in total: 25’x31’ and 25’x47’. Existing pavement is estimated at 8 inches in depth. Concrete must meet a 4,000-psi compression strength at 28 days and should avoid materials such as calcium chloride, and aggregate with history of “D” cracking. Replacement of joints should include either 1” diameter dowels, 18” long at 12” centers or tie bars be #5 bars, 30” long at 30” centers replacing what is existing.
Quotes will be accepted until Friday, March 10th at 4:00pm and can be delivered to #8 Terminal Drive, East Alton, IL 62024 (building #11) or emailed to airportdirector@stlouisregional.com. The St. Louis Regional Airport reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and to waive any technicalities. Prevailing wage must be paid and included in the quote.
This work will take place within the Aircraft Operating Area of the airfield. The selected company must adhere to all Airport Rules and Regulations to include, but not limited to, minimum insurance requirements, proper vehicle placards, vehicle flags or beacons.
