The Project consists of the bridge superstructure replacement and rehabilitation of Bridge No. 196, Mayflower Road over Ardmore Trail, including but not limited to replacing the existing superstructure with continuous composite prestressed concrete box beams, removing the existing end bent caps and reconstructing them as semi-integral end bents, substructure patching, removing and reconstructing the top of the interior bent caps to accommodate the new superstructure, repairing erosion at the top of the concrete slope walls with flowable backfill, replacing the reinforced concrete bridge approach slabs (RCBAs), terminal joints, and sleeper slabs, removing the existing guardrail along both Mayflower Road and Ardmore Trail and replacing it with new MGS W-beam guardrail, and providing maintenance of traffic.
