Specifications include, but are not limited to: to Furnish and Apply Pavement Marking Paint for the Dubuque County Secondary Road Department. Fast Dry Yellow Waterborne, Fast Dry White Waterborne, and all spheres shall meet Iowa Department of Transportation Specifications Section 2527, Section 4183 and current supplemental specifications. The price per railroad crossing will be for painting each individual approach symbol necessary. All proposals must have attached, the trade name and manufacturer and a copy of the batching formula for making the paint. Proposals for furnish & apply shall include all costs associated with the application of the pavement marking. Contractor may be required to return to Dubuque County in late fall to complete painting on newly surfaced roadways. The Contractor shall be responsible for all traffic control and disposal of empty paint barrels. The County Engineer's office shall supply the Contractor with the location of all roadways.
