Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All areas shall have grass maintained at four inches tall. Work will be neatly done and in a complete manner. The end result of the mowing will not look out of character from other neatly mowed lawns. 2. String trimming shall be done to adjoining grass height on all obstructions that prevent 100% of the grass area to be mowed. Contractors shall be flexible and keep the City’s best interests in mind. An example of this would be if a sidewalk on the property develops weed growth within the sidewalk joints, trim these as needed, without having to be instructed to do so. All areas that front on a curb and gutter, the back of curb must be trimmed. 3. All trash and small limbs shall be picked up prior to mowing property. 4. Cutting and trimming debris will be removed from sidewalks and other hard surface areas following these operations. 5. Mowing operations shall not be performed during periods of rain. Grass should be dry, from either rain or dew, before mowing operations occur.
