Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Davenport, Iowa (hereafter referred to as “City”) invites qualified vendors to submit proposals to provide fundraising consultant services for the Humane Society of Scott County (HSSC) major donor and institutional fundraising campaigns. Proposals will be evaluated on the criteria outlined in the “Selection Criteria” section of this RFP by a selection committee comprised of City and HSSC stakeholders. The Humane Society of Scott County in partnership with the City of Davenport is seeking assistance in developing fundraising plans and developing fundraising capacity, including a new capital campaign. The consultant’s responsibilities may include: ▪ A multi-year fundraising and implementation plan that includes solicitation strategies to increase HSSC fundraising efforts from private sector, foundations, individuals, or other potential donors in alignment with the organization’s mission and values ▪ Communications strategy and branded marketing materials targeting individual donors and institutional fundraising ▪ Prospect list that includes potential donors ▪ Identify strategies and resources necessary to conduct a successful campaign. ▪ Support the implementation and launch of the campaign. ▪ Train appropriate leadership to support campaign solicitations and cultivation. ▪ Reporting or presentations to stakeholders that may include the HSSC Board of Directors, Davenport City Council, or other groups.
