The selected mill and accessories are to be attached to the City’s Bobcat Skid Steer, Model S770 used by COA Public Works, Street Maintenance Division. COA currently uses two Bobcat mills, model M7017 The mill is used an average of 600 hours annually. It’s critical to the operation of the Street Maintenance Division. Lead time for parts must be known and consistent to properly supply the mill with replacements parts as necessary. Down time due to back order of parts is not acceptable. Qualified vendors regularly engaged in sales and service of products of this type must have verifiable experience in accordance with COA specifications. Mills must be constructed of quality materials capable of handling the harsh environment and long hours of operation. The COA expects the vendor to provide a completed, turnkey product, as specified, ready for service when delivered.
