Specifications include, but are not limited to: Body Worn Cameras: ▪ Camera must have the ability to adjust settings by the user such as vibration, lights, tones, etc. The body worn camera needs to have an indicator that signifies when the camera is recording and/or is in a different mode. If there is a covert or stealth mode, it must have the ability to be activated in the field. ▪ Body worn camera weather resistance rating must be disclosed with proposal. Camera must be made of materials resistant to impact. Camera must operate within a range of temperatures (-35 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit). ▪ In the field, users must have the capability to tag the footage with custom categories and case numbers. Video footage must be able to upload to a digital evidence management system via a docking station and/or cellular/wireless connectivity. ▪ If there is an option for on-premises video storage, please include the specifications and cost as a separate bid item. ▪ Camera needs the ability to recharge in the field via a dock or cable. ▪ Camera must have image stabilization, autofocus and be able to capture video quality similar to what the human eye can see in different lighting situations. ▪ Video recordings need to be a minimum of 720p quality and at least 30 Frames Per Second. ▪ Video recordings must embed timestamp automatically. ▪ Camera must have a battery level indicator. ▪ Minimum of sixteen hours of video storage space. ▪ Minimum of eight hours total of record time. ▪ Minimum of twelve hours of battery operation per shift. ▪ Camera provides GPS info of current location while recording and periodically when not recording. ▪ Camera prevents users from deleting, editing, or overwriting video recordings. ▪ The holster can activate camera wirelessly when a firearm is drawn from it, as well as when the in-car system, to which the device is paired, is activated. ▪ In case of delayed or failed activation, the device must have the capability to retrieve up to twelve hours of video without audio. Pre-event buffer settings need to be user configurable. Additional Preferred Specifications: ▪ Camera design allows for both left and right-handed operation/mounting. ▪ Full-color audiovisual capability. ▪ Camera has user replaceable battery. ▪ Ability to perform live streaming and access said video from the field via the digital evidence management system.
