5.1.1 Safety – Respondent shall maintain a satisfactory rating for the fleet and have documented programs to ensure compliance with basic vehicle safety metrics, out of service occurrences, Department of Transportation (DOT) reportable accidents and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) reportable accidents. 5.1.2 Driver Management – Respondent must manage recruiting, qualification, and hiring. i. Contractor employees shall be clearly identified by either uniform or official nametags. Drivers shall carry official company identification, which at a minimum shall include employee name, photograph and firm name. 5.1.3 Vehicle Maintenance i. Trailers must be clean ii. Vehicles must be well maintenance with limited down time. iii. Safety Compliance - (FMCSR Parts 392, 393 and 396) • Maintenance of required documentation for repairs. • Documented program to perform maintenance because of an out of service inspection or from pre-trip/post trip inspection. 5.1.4 Fuel Procurement – Respondent is responsible for the procurement of fuel.
