Specifications include, but are not limited to: All Dairy Products submitted on this bid must meet all State and Local Requirements, as to maintain high quality of products and under such conditions as to maintain sanitation as required by such agencies having jurisdiction and police power relative to the dairy industry. Vendor will be required to furnish and provide such facilities as needed to conform to the intent of these specifications. All milk shall be Grade A pasteurized and shall meet all requirements of Iowa law, Chapter 192 and 194, Code of Iowa. All milk shall conform to the minimum standard of the Iowa Department of Agriculture. The District(s) are requesting bids on milk deliveries in paper containers. Samples of milk and/or carton may be requested for approval. Plastic-coated containers should be tight enough to prevent leaking, but cartons should not be difficult for children to open. CRCSD and Metro Area Schools intends to award a contract to the most responsive and responsible vendor whose bid conforms to meeting the minimum requirements of the bid request in accordance to the specifications, general and specific terms and conditions, general instructions, and the conditions of purchase as contained in this Invitation for Bid (herein after referred to as “IFB”) and addenda.
