The Muscatine Art Center Board of Trustees is seeking a visionary firm that can develop an achievable plan for a building addition that is well-crafted, inviting, and beautiful while remaining practical and economical. The selected design firm or team will also develop a site master plan, situating the building addition, connecting it to the existing structures on site, and re-imagining the visitor experience on the 5+ acres of grounds. The Muscatine Art Center plans to work with the selected Architect / Site Planner over 4 to 6 months to undertake architectural visioning, assess and document existing conditions, and develop a concept design (at 15% design) to include a site master plan, proposed site plan, artistic renderings, floorplans, and a rough order of magnitude cost. The selected design firm will provide all services to meet the goals and objectives of this project. This may be done through one firm or through partnerships with other firms or sub-consultants. The selected design firm will remain the main point of contact with the Muscatine Art Center for the Project.
