Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Davenport is requesting bids for Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) from an HMA supplier whose equipment has been calibrated according to Iowa D.O.T specifications. This contract will be valid until November 15, 2023 or until the supplier has produced and the City has picked up the tonnage required to complete its paving projects during the construction season. It is expected that the contract will require approximately five thousand (5000) tons. 1. HMA 1M S 3 /8”, PG 58-28S This item shall include all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to design and produce bituminous mixtures per Iowa D.O.T. Standard Specifications and the attached HMA Supplemental Specifications. The use of Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP) shall not exceed 10% in any mix produced. The use of Recycled Asphalt Shingles (RAS) shall not be allowed. Payment for this item shall be at the unit bid price per ton. 2. HMA 1M S-I 1 /2”, PG 58-28S This item shall include all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to design and produce bituminous mixtures per Iowa D.O.T.
